Welcome, Or: All the Good Post Titles Are Taken, Too
Hello, and welcome. Since my Xanga community more or less imploded, I’ve settled on Blogger as the home for the new blog. Hopefully I’ll be more responsible about keeping this one up to date. The goal for now is at least one update a week, which seems reasonable right now.
Being a librarian in training, a big part of my life is making interesting things available to people. One of the most interesting things I can think of sharing now is the text of a talk Neil Postman, the social critic, gave in 1998. It’s called Five Things We Need to Know about Technological Change. Enjoy.
